My Future Job 🌟 I would like to have a job in which I have direct contact with people and can help them. I imagine my job as field research work in which I help to solve the problems of those studied, a job with an interdisciplinary perspective, where I can work on various issues including environmental defense, gender perspective, human rights, among others.  I would like to do mainly ethnographic work, that is to say, outdoors, but it is also necessary to do research work indoors.  Anthropology has so many approaches and topics that it is common to travel for work around the world. Personally, I love to travel so I would love to do it for work. Regarding the salary of an anthropologist, I think it is fine, but what I am concerned about is employability. My major is anthropology, which I chose because I am very interested in social and human studies. On the other hand, I would like to strengthen my knowledge by majoring in psychology. I am interested in doing another major because
What's like to study Anthropology? I study anthropology at Universidad de Chile in the Social Science Faculty.  I chose this career because I always found the study of human beings and cultures fascinating and necessary. I also envisioned myself in a social career with human contact rather than one surrounded by machines. In addition, my desire to contribute to a change for a better world influenced me as well.    I am currently in my second year and have not been able to have face-to-face classes since I was accepted into college due to the covid-19 pandemic. For these reasons, I have only had online classes, which is visually exhausting, hard to concentrate, lonely due to not having direct contact with my classmates, and stressful. However, it also has advantages such as being able to watch recorded classes, getting up later and not having to leave the house (at least for me). I hope the pandemic is over soon so I can see my loved ones and attend college. I would really hate to
Let's talk about the pandemic   The covid-19 pandemic   has brought many problems to the people, among them are: Increase in unemployment  and impoverishment of the Chilean  population. Increase in cases of gender violence, domestic violence demands and femicides. Closure of educational and care centers such as universities, schools, kindergartens, nursery centers, among others.  Increase in the price of food, basic necessities products and services.  High human infection and high number of fatalities. On the other hand, another consequence of the pandemic is the changes that people were forced to go through. Some of these changes are:  Change from presential modality to online modality for the classes. Closure of stores and restaurants. People should preferably shop online.  Prohibition of social gatherings of any kind. Finally, if we visualize a future after the pandemic, hopefully a near future, I personally believe that social gatherings will return, stores and restaurants will
